BRIEF/PROBLEM:
Local communities and society in general seem to lack in near by and easy to travel to spaces and places where healthy food is available/can become an option for people to be able to grow their own food and make their own healthy drink/snack. Healthy food is often always very over priced as well as it being difficult to reach when it is most needed. The space I have created encourages young knowledge workers who work remotely to grow their own food only using healthy and natural ingredients, whilst it also creating a healthy impact on the environment as well.
Since we are almost always surrounded by cheap, unhealthy and easy fast food, I wanted to create a space with a cost efficient, environmentally friendly and a socially engaging approach. As healthy products and services are usually out of reach and incredibly expensive.
IDEAS/SOLUTION:
Young like minded knowledge workers will have the opportunity to make healthy juices/drinks and snacks, only using locally grown ingredients. The space I created gives the chance for knowledge workers to socialise as well. It will re brand already existing vegan brands - since so many people associate vegan food with plain and dull food, my space/idea will aim to encourage people that there is more to vegan food and that majority of our healthy food and drink is classed as vegan.
Local communities can get together and have the opportunity to create healthy drink and food, using only locally grown ingredients/healthy products available. A safe space for a healthy mental and inner well being, not just beneficial for one's health but also the environment as well. Young people tend to enjoy a social and outgoing life, however when working long hours or studying, this decreases. Lack of movement causes further health problems along with poor diet. It is in this way young knowledge workers can have the chance and be encouraged to be healthy in a social space. Step by step guides are included as well as an app which will show people healthy recipes and ingredients they can use and combine together.
